    Proper pub. Good beer, good food and friendly staff - what more do you want? It's in a cracking spot too when the sun shines as the beer garden is superb and overlooks the river. Not too many of the toothless, trollied and tattooed mob either, so all in all good place for an ale and a steak.

    Lovely food. Polite and very helpful staff. ALWAYS helpful with my friends wheelchair. Same staff each week and has been for a long time which shows a good working atmosphere.

    Food was lovely and the price was good. Serve alcohol but no drinks menu. Was empty at 7 but then by 9 was almost full. Staff was polite. Enjoyed it.
